7/21/2007 I have been to many spas in my lifetime and Golden Spoon Spa is by far the best spa experience I have ever had, I have gone to spas all over the USA, Canada and many foreign countries! The people were wonderful, kind and very encouraging. We received the best of care and we were the only clients in the spa so we were never waiting or interrupted. I can't say enough about the employees at this spa, courteous, friendly, informative and extremely kind. I will definitely go back to the Golden Spoon Spa on my next visit to Pittsburgh, as a matter of fact, I may go to Pittsburgh for the sole purpose of going to the Golden Spoon Spa!

2/22/2007 A visit to the "Golden Spoon" is a must ... I'm very "tardy" with the praise, but I'm writing to say "thank you" to Katalin and her team for a wonderful spa experience. Last July, my best friend and I both enjoyed a "Gold" package in celebration of my friend's 25th Wedding Anniversary. Someone had recommended the "Golden Spoon Spa" and we were not disapointed. The time was reserved specifically for us, so we were the only ones there. We thoroughly enjoyed our private, relaxing and most enjoyable afternoon. Kudos! A visit to the "Golden Spoon" is a must for eveyone who visits downtown Pittsburgh. Great value for the money!

11/25/2006 Wonderful service and attentiveness I visited a friend in Pittsburgh and found this spa on Citysearch before my visit. My friend and I were not sure what to expect, but we were both pleasantly surprised. It was fabulous! We received massages, facials, and pedicures. Every service was excellent. The staff was so attentive. It was a great start to my vacation! I highly recommend it.

11/02/2006 One of Pittsburgh's Best. My significant other and I recently spent an afternoon at The Golden Spoon Spa. It was one of the most relaxing afternoons we have had in a while. I received a 60 min. massage, a manicure and a pedicure. He received a 60 min. massage and gentlemen's facial. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxing, soothing and private. The staff was attentive, extremely professional, very knowledge and kind. Each service was customized for us. We were the only clients there for the afternoon, which made the experience even more pleasant. We have been to numerous spas but the attention to fine details and high level of service puts the Golden Spoon Spa at the top of our list! Rebecca and Jason |

July 5, 2006 Dear Golden Spoon Spa, My husband and I extremely enjoyed our time at your spa on Saturday July 1st. We still talk about our time here and your wonderful services. We couldn't be more pleased. We are talking about returning again for a spa day at Christmas time; I can't wait. I enjoyed my facial so much, that I want to set up an appointment with Katalin to discuss what facial and skin care products I should be using. I would like to come back for another facial some time this month. I would be interested in scheduling an appointment now.

January 17, 2006 wonderful relaxing retreat I purchased the gold package and spent four hours being massaged from head to toe. I received a 75 min. massage, a 30 min. foot soak and smoothing. A delicious, yet spicy, salmon salad lunch, and a 75 min. facial and hand treatment. Each service was customized for me. The atmosphere is quiet and serene, and, as they only take one client at a time, the space was devoted solely to me and my comfort. for my birthday I was given a rose and the parking fee was subtracted from the cost of my spa services. I have been to numerous spas in NYC but have never been to a spa that was as personal as this one is. note: call ahead to discuss services first to make sure that you get exactly what you want. ekornblit |

October 29, 2005 Great way to spend 18th birthday! I surprised my daughter for her 18th birthday with a morning at the spa. I found this spa through reviews on the internet and decided to try it. The recommendations were right! This was a fabulous morning! We were treated royally and the staff was friendly and knowledgable! We had a body scrub, massage and a facial. The only down fall for us is that we live in Cleveland so we won't be able get back there soon enough! birthday18 |

May 10, 2005 Best thing I ever did! I bought myself a package of 3 and a half hours of pampering, something I always thought was too frivolous. It was the best experience! The staff are very genuine and friendly and experienced. The atmosphere, positive and relaxing. I've been going every month now, trying new things each time because there are so many ways to be pampered and don't we all deserve to be pampered?! sirenique |

May 8, 2005 Great place to relax!!! I went to Golden Spoon Day Spa as a gift to myself after having my son. The staff is great and friendly and the owners, are the best! They have such a way to make the client feel at home and comfortable. I will definately return there again as this was only my second massage, everyone made me feel wonderful. I walked out feeling very pampered! The spa is an experience that you have to live to believe. jafleece |

February 5, 2005 GoldenSpoonSpa is heavenly, My first vist was for a massage. I have suffered from chronic back pain for 10+ years and have never returned to the same masseuse before ... I was always searching for the perfect deep massage ... and I found it! I have been continuing my therapy over the last two months and have always walked away completely satisfied if not glowing! November 11, 2004 Best of the Best, I go to Golden Spoon Spa frequently! The massages are awesome, the jacuzzi is great, and the magic-chair is fabulous! The friendly, caring and capable staff makes my experience so peaceful and relaxing every time I go. If you want the best of the best, this is it! It is a small spa, without the commercial bustle of some of the bigger spas in town. Golden Spoon Spa is definitely the best spa in town. Jennifer Short |

September 13, 2004 A Hidden Treasure! What a great finding! A great surprise to finally find a spa that has a true serene, intimate, elegant and caring environment. Not commerically inclined, this spa offers fabulous treatments - I have had them all! The owner as well as the staff makes me feel cared for and special. April 29, 2003 Dear Katalin, I just wanted to send a note to thank you for the wonderful day of pampering. This was my first experience at a spa, and because it was a birthday gift, it made it all the more special. You and your staff were fabulous in making me feel like a queen. March 10, 2003 Good Morning Katalin, I wanted to let you know how pleased I was at the results of having my eyelashes dyed. Adding more color to them helped them appear fuller and longer. The added convenience of not having to apply mascara, on a daily basis, is also a major benefit. When I do decide to wear mascara, the dye assists in bringing life to my lashes and my eyes vibrantly stand out. I greatly appreciate your services and I look forward to coming back to your spa. February 14, 2003 The Golden Spoon Spa is truly Pittsburgh’s best kept secret! Words cannot even express the wonderful treatment I had when visiting the Golden Spoon Spa. So for those of you who are reading this and have never been there, you will have to spend a day there to experience it for yourself! What is so unique about the Golden Spoon Spa is the top notch service you get as soon as you walk into the door. Katalin and her staff not only provide you with great customer service, but they also provide you with comfort, which is so important when visiting a day spa. One of the ways they ensure this comfort is by making the spa exclusive to you, and you only during your appointment time. Katalin and her staff carefully schedule your appointment, and those before and after you, so that you will not be seen by anyone else but the staff. It’s almost like having your very own day spa all to your self! The spa services itself are way beyond what I even imagined! Katalin is very well versed in the spa services she provides because she has studied both Western and Eastern medicine, and holds Degrees in Clinical-Skincare, Podiatry, Reflexology, Massage-Therapy and Herbal-Nutrition. This knowledge is communicated in the quality of service the Golden Spoon Spa provides. I would like to suggest the Swedish Massage with the Reflexology. This treatment left me feeling very relaxed, yet energized and refreshed. I cannot wait to go back again! I have never been to a spa of such high caliber and expertise as the Golden Spoon Spa and do not believe there is a spa here in the mid-west that can compare to it! Regards, |
